THE FUTURE IS HERE !
As humans we are always looking to technology to make life easier, and as consumers, we are always wanting the next big thing. From the days of the PC, to laptops, then mobile phones, and now the tablets are taking over. Yes they have been out for a few years, but recently PC sales are coming to a halt, and tablets are booming. On that note, when we think of the future, what do you imagine? And that’s a great question to ask. We have gone from having a huge desktop pc, to a laptop, and now with the push of new technology, the tablet is taking over.
We all know now, net-books and laptops are out-selling tablets, but that will al change in a couple of years. Especially with the addition of the new Microsoft Surface tablets that come pre-loaded with Windows 8 software. My estimation is that iPad will make their way into schools, once prices drop. The new Galaxy Note tablet lets you use split screen with the combination of the stylus to directly cut, copy, paste, and edit pretty much any document.
How can they not take over??
Look at it this way, most people who use a desktop, or laptop do mainly four things. Their either on a social networking site, shopping, playing simple games, or browsing the web for information. All of those stated above can be easily done on a tablet, and actually are a better experience on a tablet. For the most part they are safer, better to play on, amazing battery life, have dedicated apps for certain sites for push notifications. It is just a matter of time that people will start to realize this more!
